Easy Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are so simple and delicious and yet I don’t make them more often. I have to admit, as the oats soak up all that delicious plant-based milk overnight in the fridge, they are rather cold-ish in the morning. That’s why I usually don’t have them during winter time. BUT, as the nights get shorter again and with spring that officially arrived, they are a fave in my morning bowls again ?.
And as promised, they are made in only 3 minutes. With no preparation ahead.
You can alter or adjust these overnight oats to your taste or double the recipe. Whatever you prefer. But I’ll let you have the recipe first. So here we go:
- 300 ml plant-basked milk of choice - I used oat
- 75 g oats (GF for a glutenfree version)
- 40 g raisins
- 20 g pumpin seeds
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp buckwheat grouts
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup - or more to taste
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
-
In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients with a large spoon.
-
Transfer into an airtight container and set in the fridge overnight.
-
The next morning transfer into a breakfast bowl and top with fresh fruit of your choice.
-
Enjoy ?! Don't forget to #therawberryeats over on instagram if you remake this one. I'd love to see your recreations. ?
I hope you enjoy these overnight oats as much as I do. Kids love them, too. They can have a fun time preparing and mixing their own. Especially at this crazy time right now. We’ve spent a lot time in the kitchen currently. What have you been making? Or any new recipes you’ve been meaning to try? Let’s leave a comment and inspire one another.
Thank you so much for stopping by ??♀️
