Have you ever tried buckwheat? Or maybe even baked or cooked something delicious with it?
Buckwheat is known for its nutty flavor and is actually not a grain at all. It belongs to the pseudograin. So it doesn’t belong in the grain family, but it can be used like one.
The bright side is that it does not contain gluten and is therefore much more digestible for the body. Soaking also makes the buckwheat easier to digest. So all in all the perfect start to the day.
The porridge is perfect for the cold days and can be eaten more like a parfait. The evening before, all ingredients are stirred together, placed in a bowl and left in the refrigerator to swell overnight.
So everything can be easily taken out the next morning, or ideally taken straight to work, university, school or etcetera. Have fun 😊
