Super easy recipe for a classic porridge with a special twist. For all the ones who want a little change in their aorning bowl. This is for YOU ?
Note: I always turn my porridge ingredients into a powder. I love to cook it that way. If you want to, you can do that with the oats, chia seeds and flaxseeds. If not, you can just proceed without that.
In a small pot add the oats, chia seeds and flax seeds. Cook 100 ml water and pour over the mixture. Let sit and absorb the water for about 10 minutes.
Add plant-based milk, cacao powder, espresso shot and 1 tablespoon of almond syrup. Cook well until bubbles rise up and transfer into a bowl.
In a pan slowly melt the coconut oil. Peel and cut banana in half as shown in the picture.
Fry at medium heat on both sides for about 3 minutes.
Deglaze with 1 tbsp maple syrup and top your bowl with the banana slices. Be careful, the banana breaks easily once it's fried.
Top with almond butter, chocolate pieces and enjoy ?
