Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
Slowly heat the oil in a pan. Chop the onion and fry it.
Be sure to fry the onion on medium heat so that its full aroma can be released. After a few minutes add the brown sugar.
Press the garlic and fry it as well.
Now add all the remaining spices and roast them nicely to fully use the aroma. Then deglaze with the tomato passata and simmer for 10 minutes.
