Almondmilk, Hazelnutmilk, Cashewmilk - you name it. This recipes shows you how to make your own easily.
Note: You can toast your nuts/seeds before starting. It will add a super nice flavor. If you prefer not to you can simply skip this step.
Place the nuts in a large bowl and cover with water. Leave to soak for at least six hours. Or simply overnight.
Drain and rinse the nuts and place them in your blender with the filtered water. Blend for about 1-2 minutes.
Take a large bowl. Add a regular sieve on top. Now add your kitchen towel and pour in the milk from the blender. The sieve will prevent the towel from falling down.
Start to fold the ends of the towel together (see picture) and "milk" the mixture.
Repeat until the pulp is all dry. Congratulations! You just made a batch of plant-based milk! ?
Fill the milk into a clean bottle and store in the fridge. Shake well before you use it.
