For all the peanut butter lovers
I don’t know about you but my PB cravings are so real that I go though 1 jar a week…
Well, it’s a great plant-based source of protein and rich in good fats. Which is always good if you consume it in the right quantities.
This one is one of those recipes where you would not actually need a recipe for but over on Instagram I got asked if I could share it. So here we go:
If you want to make your peanut butter or any other nut butter from scratch I have a tutorial up here:
How to make your own nut butter.
- 2 slices of bread/toast of your choice
- 250 g fresh or frozen raspberries ⎪Chia Jam
- 4 tbsp Chia seeds ⎪Chia Jam
- 3 tbsp maple syrup ⎪Chia Jam
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder ⎪Chia Jam
- Peanut butter ⎪or make your own - see note

Toast the bread.

In the meantime put the berries in a small pot and add the remaining ingredients for the chia jam.

Cook well. Then reduce the heat until it thickens up.

Spread peanut butter evenly over the two slices.

Add chia jam and store the rest of it in an air tight container. I always make a batch. Holds up in the fridge for about a week.
