Fall is here!
The first leaves are falling, you can see more and more pumpkins and it’s just got much colder and the sun shines very golden in the evening and in the morning. Yes – this is autumn!
I’ve wanted to make a recipe with Pumpkin Spice for so long, a spice mix for THE pumpkin taste, and now the perfect time finally seems to have come. I took my spice mixture for this granola on a pumpkin festival last year (and haven’t used it since – well …) and there are all kinds of herbs in it – no flavor enhancers.
Pumpkin Spice is coming to us more and more through American cuisine. But basically you can do it yourself, OR simply replace it with cinnamon and / or autumnal spices that you otherwise like. So don’t let the spices put you off if you don’t have everything at home. The granola tastes so good too! And also makes a wonderful gift or souvenir.
Have fun!

And should I tell you something else? The whole kitchen smells of cinnamon and autumn afterwards and it’s just wonderful. The smell always reminds me of a scene in a novel.
And when will it smell so wonderful in your kitchen?
Have fun with the recipe! Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
