Have you ever tried your hand at a snack platter? They can be conjured up in no time and just make a real difference! Regardless of the occasion.
In July we had my son’s first soccer game followed by a small party at home. And since the whole thing was a rather spontaneous action, I decided on a snack platter without further ado. Olives, vegan spreads, tomatoes and whatever your heart desires. The great thing is, there are no fixed rules and you can create the records as you like, what needs to be consumed, or even devote yourself to a topic.
When I look at my platter like that, it looks like a Greek theme. With the olives, the tomatoes and above all with the “Creamy – Cucumber & Garlic” spread (Tzatziki type). That goes best with this spread, of course. Above all, I think it’s really great that there are already such alternatives on the market.
The components
It is always important to pack the following components on a snack platter:
- Crackers, rolls and / or bread
- Fruit and / or vegetables – depending on your choice
- enough dips
The best thing to do is to simply choose a culinary topic such as Greek, Italian, Indian, Asian, French, …
As you can see, there are no limits to creativity. And it also works at any time of the day! Morning, noon, evening – you name it!

Even if it looks like a lot, you only have to stick to a few “basic ingredients” and then you can conjure up any table with a “wow” effect for your friends and family with such a snack platter. I will list what I used exactly:
Greek style snack platter
- rolls
- Olives
- tomatoes
- Crackers with carrot
- Beetroot crackers
- Grapes
- cucumber
- White giant beans in tomato sauce
- filled wine leaves
- vegan Tzatziki spread
Further variation possibilities
Of course, you can also fill the plate with other vegan delicacies
Here is another Mediterranean idea for a snack platter:
- three kinds of crackers
- Pickles
- Cocktail tomatoes
- vegan shepherd’s enjoyment (feta) from SimplyV
- 3 times a vegan spread with various herbs
- mixed olives
- and again my beloved giant beans and stuffed vine leaves
If I like something, then it just comes up on my table more often! Makes sense too!
What do you like to do on it?
Now it’s your turn! What kind of topic appealed to you directly? And what shouldn’t be missing from you?
Feel free to write it in the comments.
Thank you very much for stopping by and see you very soon!
