Have you ever used an air fryer? The trend is slowly coming from the USA and I have to say I wasn’t familiar with it until now. But it’s very simple. I especially love that you need so much less oil. I think that’s what makes the trend and what can I say – now I’ve jumped on the bandwagon!

We’ve tried a few things here. From classic to unusual. Just today I saw a reel on Instagram where someone put their peanutbutter & banana toast in the hit fryer. There are things – I’ll tell you.

So I haven’t dared to do sweet things yet. But maybe it will soon be brownies from the Air Fryer. The kids and I will test diligently.

Air Fryer

For this recipe I tried the Air Fryer mini oven from Cuisinart. There are 7 settings, a separate temperature control and all this with a capacity of 17 liters.

Easy Vegan Nacho Crunch Wraps Supreme from the Air Fryer

THE perfect recipe for on the go. Whether school, or work, or directly at home? With these Nacho Crunch Wraps, the enjoyment is great – no matter where!

Ingredients
  • Olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • 1 can 200 g white beans
  • 2 tsp smoked pepper powder
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • Salt & pepper
  • 6 to rtilla wraps
  • 1 to mato
  • Lettuce
  • 1 hand full of nachos
  • vegan cheese or nacho sauce
Instructions
  1. Cut onions and garlic into small pieces. Heat some olive oil in a pan.
  2. Fry both in it. Add spices and continue frying.
  3. Drain the beans and add to the pan as well.
  4. Press the mass down with the tamper and set aside.
  5. Set the Air Fryer to “Air Fry” mode and maximum heat.
  6. Using a bowl (diameter 12cm) cut out 3×12 cm wraps from 3 wraps.
  7. Cut tomato, wash lettuce, provide nachos and vegan cheese sauce.
  8. Top one large wrap each with bean paste, lettuce, tomato, nachos and vegan cheese sauce. Place one of the small wraps on top and fold over the small wrap from the outside. Do the same with the other wraps.
  9. Place the wraps on the Air Fryer tray, brush with a little oil and “air fry” for 7 minutes on each side and enjoy.
